How we govern responsible AI use, protect academic integrity, handle data, and keep our fully online Academy accessible — including identity checks for the live oral defense. Plain language, by design.
Every workflow taught at Lawnova Academy keeps a qualified person accountable for the result. AI accelerates legal work; it does not make legal judgments. This principle governs our curriculum, our labs, and the certificates we issue.
Certificates mean something only if the work behind them is genuine. Assessments are designed to evaluate applied judgment — the part AI cannot do for you.
We collect only what we need to deliver the program and issue verifiable credentials, and we are explicit about how labs handle data.
The Academy is built to be usable by every learner. We design to WCAG 2.1 AA as a baseline and welcome accommodation requests.
Lawnova Academy is a private, non-degree certificate academy for AI and legal practice. It does not grant law degrees, confer bar eligibility, or imply ABA approval. Certificates verify completion of a professional training program.
Nothing offered by the Academy constitutes legal advice or creates an attorney–client relationship. CLE eligibility, where pursued, is jurisdiction-specific and applies only to sessions explicitly marked as CLE-eligible.
Our team is happy to walk through any policy in detail.
